(If you have severe sagging in your breasts, breast lift surgery should be performed together with augmentation surgery. Although this varies from patient to patient, it is often two operations performed at once.)
– It is generally recommended for women over the age of 18 and with fully developed breasts.
– It is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.
-Silicone Breast Implants
Silicone is a polymer that does not cause allergies or sensitivity to the human body. It has a jelly-like form and creates a feel and appearance similar to real breast tissue. Due to the stiffer structure of the silicone gel used in this application, the possibility of leakage is very low.
-Saline Breast Implants
After the incisions are made, the implant is passed through the tunnel created to be placed within the breast. Then the implant is filled with a special liquid.
Breast Implant Shapes
There are two types of breast implants. These; round breast implant and tear drop shaped breast implant. Both forms have different advantages.
-Round Breast Prosthesis
The shape of the round breast prosthesis is similar to a hemisphere. It is a silicone-filled breast prosthesis.
Round prostheses provide a more proportional appearance for patients with average breast sagging (if skin recovery is also to be done).
Its biggest advantage is that it shelves the underwired bras used before surgery as it will make the upper part of the breasts appear fuller. It is especially recommended for women who prefer open low-cut clothes.
-Tear Drop Breast Implant
-It is generally preferred in patients who want to go for a more natural appearance on their breasts.
-It is applied to patients who have no or very weak breast tissue.
-It provides a more natural appearance in patients with the long rib cage.
-In patients who have sagging breasts, it tidies up the breast and provides a good result.
Which Breast Implants are Right for Me?
