The silicones used are different from breast silicones and specially produced for the buttocks. It is suitable for patients who usually experience volume loss and do not have enough fat in their body for BBL. It is made with an incision. The incision is made where it will not be visible while the patient is standing. The most preferred method is to apply between muscles. It is necessary to use a compression garment afterwards. It is applied under general anesthesia.
-Fat Injection (Brazilian Butt Lift = BBL)
In this technique, the body’s own fat is used to give the desired shape to the buttocks. It is applied to the area where the patient has the most fat (abdomen, thigh) after the liposuction application is performed, and the fat that comes out is injected into the butt area after several procedures (this fat is purified to hold on the body). The safest method is to inject fat into subcutaneous tissue. A compression garment should be used after the procedure.
BBL is an operation performed under general anesthesia. It takes about 2-3 hours.
You may need to stay in the hospital for 1 day. If necessary, you may be asked to stay in the hospital for 1 more day. During liposuction, small incisions are made and stitches are made with special materials. The scars fade over time. However, it may take time for the final result.
